Having studied Fine Art Photography at the Glasgow School of Art in the 1990s, I went on to train as a secondary school Art and Design teacher at the Institute of Education, University of London.

In 2010 I had my first solo show as part of the Hatherleigh Festival in Devon, and following that in 2012 I took part in Mecklenburg Inspiriert, an artist's residency programme in Northern Germany. In 2013 I participated in a residency at the Red Gate Gallery in Beijing.

Currently I live by the sea in North Devon and alongside making my own work I draw illustrations for a local design company, Letterfest. I also work with my dog in local schools as a volunteer for the charity Dogs Helping Kids.

Most of my work is sold privately, so please do not hesitate to contact me at jax@jacquiharrison.com if you would be interested in having something commissioned.
