"There is something incredibly special about an artist who can capture the shifting energy of London and turn it into something tangible. Underpinned by a rare level of craftsmanship and a playful, outsider perspective, Jacqui's vivid interpretations of the city feel both dynamic and immersive. Hers is a singular vision of a city that refuses to stay still, a vibrant conversation between the past and the future. She celebrates both the grit and the glamour of the urban and reminds us to look closer at the landscapes we walk every day" …….Atelier Three, London
After graduating from the Glasgow School of Art in the 90s I went on to train as a secondary school teacher at the Institute of Education in London. Currently I’m studying for an MFA at Falmouth University and alongside making my own work I run recycling and 3d printing workshops in schools.
I've exhibited in the UK, Germany and China and worked for the pottery giant Emma Bridgewater, the PR guru Mark Borkowski and the cult travelling show Giffords Circus. I’ve also made pieces for Elton John's son Zachary, Mariah Carey's twins Moroccan and Monroe, and Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter, Blue Ivy.
